Opening gallery - any license required?

I am planning to opening art gallery in NY where artists can display their arts. We rent the space and collect the money from artists. Also, when visitors purchase their arts, we collect 20% margin from selling price. So, it is a normal gallery. I think sales tax license is required to start the business, but do I need to get any other permission or license? Thank you.
