Is staying at your moms house during college 18-23 a MAJOR girl action blocker or is there a way to get by?

BTW : Im staying there because I dont wanna work or struggle paying rent while taking 5 classes a semester and trying to get good grades.....Also my moms place is a medium size 2 bedroom apartment. She works during the day. Advice PLEASE ? ....Thank you YA community :) !!!!
