What age to spay dog?

Age doesn't matter. Just get it done. She'll just be more laid back and relaxed. She most likely still will bark at intruders. My 10 year old black lab/golden retriever mix named Angus barks whenever he thinks someone is coming in the house, no matter who it is, and he's been neutered since he was just a handful of months old.
